Unrivalled Speed and Skating Development
Nothing else comes close
We use elite-level speed development methods and measurement tools (like 1080 Motion sprint tech and force plate/timing systems) usually only available at professional or collegiate levels, giving athletes precise stimulus and feedback with measurable improvements. Also, our programming provides unparalleled skating development from positional mastery through to power development, focusing not just on raw strength but on movement quality, technique, and optimal force application for fewer injuries and more sustainable performance.
Testimonials
"I’ve never felt faster on the ice."
"Before training with Game Changers, I struggled to keep up in high-pressure moments. After just a few weeks, my first step quickness and top-end speed completely transformed. I’m winning races to the puck and creating plays I couldn’t before."
"Game Changers made me explosive."
"The program is built for athletes who want to separate themselves. My acceleration and change of direction improved so much that my coaches noticed right away. It’s a total game changer."
"The confidence boost is unreal."
"My son always had skill, but lacked that extra gear. After training with Game Changers, he’s faster, more confident, and making an impact every game. He’s not just playing—he’s standing out."
"Results you can see on the ice."
"Within a month, my daughter’s speed and power skyrocketed. She’s chasing down plays and creating scoring chances she never could before. The program truly delivers on game-changing results."
"Players come back transformed."
"I’ve sent multiple athletes through Game Changers, and every single one returned faster, more explosive, and more confident in their game. It’s the kind of training that separates good players from great ones."
"A difference-maker for competitive athletes."
"Speed kills in today’s game, and Game Changers develops it better than anyone. The athletes I’ve coached who trained there are consistently the ones who change outcomes."
Joel Becker
Speed Development & Skating Biomechanics Expert
Joel Becker is the Head of Strength and Conditioning for PWHL Seattle and previously served as an Assistant Coach with the University of Alberta Golden Bears. A performance specialist with a Master of Coaching degree focused on speed development and skating biomechanics in elite hockey players, Joel is dedicated to advancing how athletes train for speed, power, and efficiency on the ice. His foundation in elite speed skating shaped his understanding of biomechanics and force application, giving him a unique perspective on skating mechanics that few hockey coaches bring to the game.
At Odynn, Joel leads the performance side of athlete development, designing programs that integrate strength and conditioning, biomechanics, and sport-specific movement. His approach is rooted in science but delivered in a way that athletes and coaches can apply immediately, helping players not only skate faster but also translate that speed into offensive production and game impact.
Joel’s expertise has been recognized on some of the sport’s biggest coaching stages. As a featured presenter at TCS Live 2025, he delivered a session on “Strong Hips, Strong Stride; The Biomechanics of Elite Skating” breaking down how acceleration and top-end speed can create more scoring opportunities. He has also contributed to coaching education platforms, podcasts, and clinics, where he is known for distilling complex biomechanics into practical drills and coaching cues.
Holding his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation, Joel blends advanced academic knowledge with hands-on coaching experience. His philosophy emphasizes the connection between off-ice training and on-ice performance, ensuring athletes can transfer gains in the gym directly into game situations. Whether he’s working with professional athletes in the PWHL, high-level university players, or young developing athletes, Joel’s mission is the same: to make speed and movement training accessible, effective, and game-changing.
