RAPID Neurofascial Reset

RAPID is a neurologically based, active, therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous systems role in alleviating tension and restrictions within the body. RAPID is an evidence based manual therapy technique that can be used by all health care professionals to quickly and effectively eliminate pain in their patients.

What is a treatment like? RAPID Therapists use a a combination of hands on palpation, examination, and treatment. The RAPID provider palpates the tissues with his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Hypersensitive areas are treated by combining precisely directed depth and tension with very specific patient movements. RAPID sessions may be uncomfortable. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function.

Manual Osteopathy

What Is Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT)?

Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT) is a gentle, hands-on approach to healthcare that works to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve the body’s overall function. Rather than simply treating symptoms, manual osteopathy looks at the body as an interconnected system, identifying the underlying restrictions that may be contributing to pain, dysfunction, or decreased performance.

My treatments combine several advanced osteopathic techniques to address the body as a whole, including:

  • Osteoarticulations – gentle, low-velocity mobilizations of the bones and joints designed to restore normal movement without forceful manipulation or high-velocity adjustments.
  • Advanced Myofascial Techniques – precise hands-on treatment of fascia and soft tissues to release tension, improve mobility, and restore healthy movement patterns.
  • Visceral Manipulation – gentle techniques that improve the mobility and function of the body’s organs and their surrounding connective tissues, recognizing that restrictions within the visceral system can contribute to pain and dysfunction elsewhere.
  • Craniosacral Therapy – subtle manual techniques that address the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord to support the nervous system and promote relaxation and healing.
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage – gentle rhythmic techniques that encourage healthy lymphatic circulation, helping reduce swelling, improve immune function, and support tissue healing.

A Whole-Body Approach

Every structure in the body is connected. Restrictions within the joints, muscles, fascia, organs, or nervous system can influence movement, circulation, and function throughout the entire body. By identifying and treating these restrictions, Manual Osteopathic Therapy helps restore balance between the musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, lymphatic, and visceral systems, allowing your body to function more efficiently and heal more effectively.

What to Expect

Each assessment and treatment is individualized to your specific needs. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, experiencing reduced mobility, or simply looking to improve how your body functions, treatment is designed to identify the root cause rather than just the site of pain.

Clients commonly report improvements in pain, mobility, posture, breathing, digestion, athletic performance, and overall well-being. The goal is not to force the body to change, but to remove restrictions so your body can do what it was designed to do—move, adapt, and heal.

It’s no surprise that some people describe their osteopathic therapist as a “magician”—but it’s really the body’s own ability to heal, simply guided by skilled hands.
